Our pick for April is in!

In April, we will be reading an indie romance together, and I could not be more excited. This one will be a juicy love triangle between a woman currently separated from her husband and her ex-lover who suddenly re-enters her life. What more could we possibly wish for?!

Say You’ll Remember Me by Abby Jimenez

This month, the club decided to choose a book from an author’s catalogue, and Abby Jimenez was the overwhelming choice. As a group, we also decided to choose a book that would be the first in a series, so that we wouldn’t be missing any juicy details or Easter eggs by reading out of order. (We LOVE our Easter eggs!) And so, after multiple polls, we finally reached a consensus. Say You’ll Remember Me will be the book of the month!

Here’s a little teaser for you:

Samantha and Xavier meet in a classic “right person, wrong time” scenario. They make a connection, but as fate would have it, Samantha is about to move to take care of her mother with dementia. Unfortunately, they can’t stop thinking about each other, even with time, distance, and difficulty standing in their way.

May this kind of meet-cute only find me in fiction!
